Help Steering Slack

Just put a new gear box in and had an alignment. Tie rods ball joints, rag joint everything is good to go, but i still have a little play in the wheel.... Could that be related to having a little play in the automatic shift? it is a little better than before i changed the gear box.... suggestions please

The gearbox has adjustments to tighten it up, but to so in like 1/16 to 1/8 incriments, a little is a lot and if you get it to tight it will grenade itself.
Good Luck

were the pitman arm splines in perfect shape?

Best bet is to turn the wheel while someone else is looking at suspension components...
