put a 1997 front end in a 2003?

I have a 97 4x4 and a2003 2x4 could i put the dana 60 from the 97 under the 2003 both 350's just wonderin if it would work thanks...

Yes it can be done. But you will have to get leaf springs for a SD and also a transfer case for it. And lots of other little things.

Wheel bolt pattern will be diffrent... 8 on 6.5" for the '97, vs. the 8 on 170mm for the '99-up trucks... means diffrent rims front and back, or adaptors...

sounds like allot of finageling to me the rims are the deal breaker.... Anyone on here want to trade a 97 350 4x4 cc 7.3 xlt new shocks rancho 9000 pipe bumper sprayin liner rebuild heads new injectors glow plug rebuild pcm new sensors valve cover gaskets.. not running----.for all the parts ill need off a donor truck for the 2x4 to 4x4 conversion? Let me know.
