hp

how big of a chip can you get before you start to have tranny problems i am lookin at an 80 hp chip i should be good on my tranny very new to the powersroke theme

any custom tuned chip will be fine if you dont rape it all the time and your tranny isnt real weak, alot of people like swamps, php, tw, and dp.

what year of truck do you have

NEW MOTOR BEING BUILT! motor thats in it right now....7.3,DI stage 4s 350/200s, GT4594 turbo, ZF5 swap, Valair Kevlar clutch, term twins HPOP, 6" lift, 35",Banks IC, DIY 6637 filter, 3.5" down pipe, BDP IDM, TW live tuned chip, BD turbo timer, DIY ladder bars,910 springs, push rods, studs, fuel and airdog I.
SOLD 99 F350 CCLB 6speed 4in down pipe. and banks junk, made 330 on the dyno at 5k feet though. 2.5in leveling kit. custom bumper.
1983 F250 6.9 IDI, 4X4, Flat bed

i went with a chip from Tony Wildman, and i love it. its a 6 position chip with a max HP of 140, but your going to need a good tranny. and the edge is junk! i had one (100HP) and its not that impressive and it shortly after my front seal went out of the tranny. but i have a BD now
