would you buy this

hi every one this is my first time posting here so bear with me lol
i am curently looking at a 2000 f250 ext cab short box xlt 7.3..
with 325k miles the body is straight but the bed has some bondo and scratchs
the interior is fair for the age and millage
it was converted from a manual to auto so it has the looose gear **** issue,
the guy claims the a/c needs to be charged
its 2wd with goose neck trailer brake, the truck has 325k miles and it shows
just wondering what would be a real good buy
thanks to every one in advance

What a mess. I would stay away from a conversion, bad AC... Those are pretty
high miles too.

what do you mean loose gear issue?

325k huh? ok check the blow by in the oil, look at the color of the oil and smell it, look at the turbo fins for damage, look at the coolant and color of it, see if any smoke comes out of the tail pipe, and all the usual stuff for inspecting a car/truck.

the foil is stock, supposed to quite the turbo sound. $4500 seems a little steep for that truck. what are you talking about the "loose gear"???

I'd offer $2500 and be willing to walk away... lots of issues, and it's not even 4x4.

4500 is a little high for 325k miles with problems... 2-2500 at the most
