F350 2001 XL 2WD to 2005 Lariat 4x4

Hi

My name is Facundo, I'm live in Chile, I have an F350 2001 7.3 XL 2WD with some adds like Lariat bumper, Front seats, 35x12,5, 2" Leveling Kit, and other things.
My new project it's a big upgrade this truck, I bougth a crashed 2005 4x4 Lariat

I'm going to swap the chassis from 2WD to 4WD, also all the seats, Instrument panel, Steering, etc form the Lariat.
I'm only use the body of the 2001.
Here in Chile is very dificult to find this trucks.

Here are some pics of my Truck.
The first day:

Now:

An here is the new Crashed Truck.

Today I started to disamble the 2005 truck and compare the broken parts to 2001 7.3
I have broken:
-A/C Blower
-Power steering reservoir.
-Intercooler (I think is the same of 7.3)

Here are some pics of today.

Sounds like quite a project! Great pictures!

If you were going to swap the motor and trans with the body onto the newer frame I would think you would have less problems. Wiring/computer with the cab is made to work with the 7.3 PSD motor and trans. However, with both trucks there to compair, I'm sure you'd be able to make one good 4x4 truck out of all thoes parts!

Good luck! Keep us posted with Pics!

Dont use K&N if you can help it. Look at S&B or AFE. Much better for your diesel. K&N can allow too much dirt by and cause turbo dusting.
