muffler off

I've been outside for about an hour now trying to get my muffler off. I dont want to cut it just in case i dont like it or even better my wife doesnt like it if you know what i mean. It is an aftermarket 4 inch i dont know what brand, it is clamped on both sides, ive got both clamps off any help would be great. I dont know if there is some sort of trick im missing or what. Thank you in advance

Just keep pounding on it till it comes off..you could also spray some wd-40 or something to loosen it up a bit..

BFH is about all you can do short of cutting it out. If it's straight through muffler, I don't think you're gonna notice much of a difference with it removed.

If you have access to an oxy-acetylene torch that's the tool for the job. Make sure you don't have any fuel leaks first.
