Why do i have PTO

Do i have a PTO tranny it has the cover on the side of the tranny i though it was only for tow tucks

HD manuals have PTO mounts. I also believe there was an option on the 4R100 for a PTO. Haven't seen one, probably a rare and pricey option.

If it's an auto with the PTO plate, it's worth a LOT more than one without it. To buy a re-man with PTO costs way more. The cores are very sought after.

My 2002 has the pto cover on it. I figured it was standard. Because the trans is used on trucks that need pto's.
