Ordered a AERO 3535XL Muffler

I wanted to get something that would kinda quiet down my straight pipe a little and maybe make it sound not as choppy. I couldnt find much info about these, but I went ahead and ordered one. I'll let everyone know what I think about it once I put it on. I'll compare it to the straight pipe with some videos. I got the resonated version, so I really hope it quiets it down some. Until it gets here does anyone have any info on one of these mufflers on a 7.3 powerstroke? I hope it was worth the money.

Thats what I read somewhere too. I thought about the BTM but one place i read said that he thought it was still too loud with the BTM, so thats why I ended up ordering the Aero resonated 3535XL. I guess we will find out if its good or not as soon as it comes in.

I had the aero 5050xl on my exhaust for a while before i put it to straight pipe. It does a good job quieting things down in the cab but outside it still has a nice deep tone. It gives more of the mellow growl and takes away alot of the harsh rap rap rap sound a straight pipe gives.

Perfect, I hope thats exactly what it does for me. Did you notice any thing different with your EGT's from switching from the aero to the straight?
