Should i buy this truck??/

I am planning on taking a look at this truck this weekend. Guy told me he has never had any motor or trans work done beside having the trans flushed at 30k miles ago. Said it has two spots of rust the size of a quarter and a 4in dent in the body other than that he told me he just got new ball joints and an alignment done on the truck. Anything i should be aware of or look out for with this truck??? This will be my first diesel and everything i have been looking for. Also what should i offer for it??? any suggestions

ok after looking at it and taking it for a drive i offered him 10k cash i was pretty disappointed to see a few things that were done with the truck. He wouldnt go below 13k and i wasnt about to pay any more than 12500 max. It had more rust than expected around the wheel wells it was only bubbling but hard to see what could be under those chrome wheel well covers. Also the bottom of the truck had maybe 10in or so of rock guard around the whole truck. That was pretty much a deal breaker since who knows what could be under there and it kinda looks a little cheesy. The only other thing i really noticed was the exhaust kinda looked like it was hacked off like a little kid did it and ran the straight pipe. After looking at this i think i might be better off finding a bone stock f250 or f350 from an old man and doing my own mods lol.
