DIY WICKED WHEEL?

this may be a dumb question, but i was just wondering if anyone has ever attempted to make there own wicked wheel to battle surge? i know that it is only 80 bucks ples shipping, but was just wondering if i could just take my dremel to the stock one to save some money [times are tuff]. any thoughts?

Turbos spin over 50,000 RPM, it has to be precision balanced to keep it together. $60 at XDP.

I found the x-wheel there for 75 but not the ww for 60

They musta upped the price, when i bought mine a few months ago it was $60, give or take a few.

When I bought mine from them they put me on back order for two months. The price was good but I couldent wait that long!

does upgrading to a ww really make a difference if you just had a superchip? im getting 26 psi @ wot, i do have the 10k mod, but i supposedly have a 26 psi relief valve, dont know if it works or if i onky can get 26 psi
