gear skip

hey guys i have a ts 6pos in my truck an when im drivin it shifts out of 1st an seems to skip second gear on 50 an 75 tunes an on 100 an 140 it skips 3rd i believe could this be an installation prob or tranny problem?

Is it blowing through the converter?basically feels like it never finds the (missing gear)..

exactly feels like it just doesnt hit it goes up to normal like 2k rpm or so then drops down when it shifts to like 1400-1500

I dont know how he tunes his programs.I can go into my programmer and change the line pressure.On the higher tunes,I bumped up my pressure to make sure it doesnt slip.Do you have a stock tranny?Might be trying to tell you something if so.

yes bone stock i hope when i send it to tony to reburn it it will take care of it, i hope its jus the generic tunes

mine does the same thing but only in mt `140 hp tune not in none of the others but my tranny is junk its only stock

bts is a good trannt and so is ats.but theres alot of them

ya i already found a fully built ats for 2500 + 300 for torque converter

I hope they are backing some of the price out of the tranny to cover the converter..$300.00 sounds too cheap for a good one.Mine was $850.00.You might want to ask what type of converter it is.
