Drivers window not moving all the time

My driver side window sometimes slowed down and then stopped. It would make a click sound by my legs (hear the fuse box area). Now this past weekend, it just wouldn't move at all (at first). Just made a clicking sound near fuse box. Later on, I forgot and tried again and this time it work going down. Later on I remember when it went back up REALLY slow. Now it sometimes goes down and sometimes up.

Is this my motor? Someone told me it might have something to do with the auto window down feature not working (making the clicking sound).

I am at a loss. What steps should I take to fix this problem (aside from taking it to someone).

Start simple.
I had this problem with mine. The only thing I did was sylicone the guides and the problem went away.

I did that on Friday and it makes it go down a lot better. However, sometimes it won't even start to go down (just clicks when the window is fully up) and the window still comes up VERY slowly.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Anyone else?
