4.5" or 6" icon lift

I was looking to do 35 or 36 " tires what kit would give a better ride the 4.5 shackle lift or the 6" spring lift? Will 36" tires fit under the 4.5" lift?

A hanger lift will always ride better than a spring lift. If you want a 6" lift use 2" hangers and Icon 4" front springs with their 5" rears for the best ride quality. properly valved Bilsteins are a must.

4.5" will ride better due to retaining stock springs...you can clear 35s.

6" has springs so the ride will be a little firmer, but hold up to abuse better than stock springs.

SPDJNKY_42,
Did you ever get more answers to this question regarding clearance? My first truck was a 2002 F-350. I as well used to have the ICON 4.5 hanger lift plus an extra 1.5" of added lift springs (Icon pack minus removed one spring). I ran 36" PJ's with no rubbing although I do remember slightly trimming the corner of the bumper off which wasn't a big deal. Lost that truck during the hurricane. Now that have have a replacement truck (another 2002 F350), I'm fining myself doing all the research all over again. I never got the opportunity with the first truck to try and run 36" tires on just just the hanger kit alone. Now I am wondering if this is going to be possible seeing that I plane on purchasing a bumper replacement for this truck. I should also mention that the first truck had Weld Outback 16x9.25" wheels.
