2001 F350 built 5/01... is this the new/old set up?

I understand that some things changed in the 2001 model, but some posts I read suggested that these did not impact all 01s (early vs late build?). Anyone know when the changes took place and what differences there were? Thanks

There's a very slight possibility an early '01 has forged rods, but don't quote me on that.
