I hear ya. My girlfriend bought about as many parts for my Jeep as I did when I was building it up. I married her in January.

Well the folks that I have been eyeing for a while for a 4 inch system on my truck claim that the system will give me a 150-200 degree drop in EGTs.
Their numbers sound a little high but my best guess would be a 100 degree drop.
Now if you have a chip you would probably see a larger drop.

I think he means if you already had a chip, and then went with the exhaust. You would maybe see a bigger drop in temps than you would if you were just running around stock.

Well of course you would. I'm saying that if you were running a chip right now and you changed your exhaust you would see a greater drop than changing the exhaust on a stock tuned truck.
