finally got gauges need some help

i just got done installing my gauges and 4" TB exhaust from Raul.

I couldnt wait to drive it after i got my gauges in so i took it for a run after i got my down pipe on. here are the temps and boost i observed

//////////// Idle //// Wide open from 50 mph //// cruisin at 60
Trans 115 // 115 // 115
EGT 400-500 // 1000-1100 // 600-700
Boost 0 // 15-22 // 3-5

after i got home i took a look underneath the truck and noticed some oil and the end of my down pipe it wasonly a few drops and it looked pretty clean. so i stuck my hand in the pipe and it was oily but the oil in the pipe was pretty black.

thanks for any advice in advance

Bobby

Sounds fine. Your idle temps are a little high, they are normaly in the 300-350 range. Otherwise your looking good.

Diesel engine oil being black is no indication of the condition of the oil. Brown is bad though, that means water in the oil. There may be the possiblity of the turbo seal leaking oil into the exhaust pipe. Does the truck smoke light blue at idle or use oil?

I would not worry that much about it, like was said above, do you have blue smoke at idle or under hard accel?
