Putting a 10K or 5.6K mod on a switch

OK I tried looking to find it, but with in the last couple of days someone mentioned putting his 10K (or 5.6K mod) on a switch.

How??

If you have or are going to get TW I wouldn't worry about it. You will see no benefit from running both. But to do it on a switch you pretty much run wires from your ICP to the cab and to a switch that is either a simple on off switch or has 3 positions. The two wires from the ICP fork off to go to the spots on the switch and for a stock position you just run the wires straight, for the resistor position just put the resistor straight in with one of the wires coming from the ICP. Then with the switch in that position the resistor is active, in the other there is no resistor in line so it is stock.
