Need to upgrade exhaust with no money...
I am tired of running a bone stock truck. I want to upgrade the intake (another thread I posted) and also now the exhaust. I am guessing a muffler delete type of system. Any suggestions?
The only thing I want to spend money on it the TW chip but I believe I need to have the exhaust and intake modified first so he sets the chip correctly for me. |

You need to get gauges before you get the chip. As far as the intake goes someone ought to come along with the part #, but you can get the intake from napa for a diy tymar style intake, and for the exhaust you could just cut the muffler off and either weld in some exhaust pipe or get some flex pipe and two exhaust clamps

How much is NO money? if you have NO money, you shouldnt be doin stuff to the truck until you save up and HAVE money. But you can do the Zoodad mod for free, 10k mod, foil delete, and others like that for FREE!!

I did the intake (tymar) for about $50. For my exhaust it cost me about $200 (4" downpipe, and all pipe with 5" SS tip) i had it exit infront of the rear tire.

they DIY intake is the NAPA 6637 filter (the baldwin in my sig is the same thing)
i used a Walker BTM (Big Truck Muffler) and kept the stock size and it sounds great. good straight flow muffler |
