Do it Yourself Intake Questions

I keep reading in peoples sigs about DIY Intake.

Is this a kit? If so who sells them? How hard is it to install? What air cleaner are you using, etc...

I would love to have a AFE Stage 2 intake, but I am just trying to be realistic with the economy.

Have more questions but I will post each on a different thread.

does it matter that mine is a late '99?

Also, do most people do the "home made box" for the filter or just getting rid of the box and adding the "cone" filter make that much of a difference?

You don't need an cold air box, but it cuts down on the in-cab noise.

Almost forgot- you can order a nice kit from Clay at Riffraff Diesel- he's still working on his website so just give him a call, 541-879-1052.
