so i just had a question. i got the 4R100, and i was wondering if it hurts the trans to start off from a stop in 2nd instead of "Drive"

If you are stopped, it will still start in first gear even though not in D. From what I understand, the only thing putting it in 2 will do is prevent it from shifting into 3rd or 4th gear.
