Has anyone here changed Turbo Shroud????

I am replacing my turbo shroud tonight, can any of you provide some do's and don't.
I see the e-clip on the wastgate is going to be a ***** already.
I will probably have to remove the Wastegate acctuator.
Can I leave the Ic tubes connected?

Thanks for the help fellas

Shouldn't take you very long when it's on the truck. I done several of them in place. Use a dental pic to get the clip off and then when you are putting the clip back on, tie a pic of fishing line to it so when you drop it (and you will) just pull it back up with the line.

Don't forget to adjust your wastegate........

You turn the end of the wastegate actuator to shorten the length, keeping the WG closed longer. Mine is full tight... it's a PITA to get it back onto the pin so be prepared to grunt and swear.

Just pull the turbo to do the whole thing... It is so much easier to work on that bastard on a bench then hanging over the truck. Not to mention you can inspect everything else while your there.
