Installed new gauges, readings seem right?
2000 f-350 crewcab dually, 4.10 gears 2wd.
boost at 55mph - 1psi max boost - 14psi transmission stays at 175 egt at 55mph - 600 max egt 1100 the boost seems low and the egt seems high only mods done to the truck is k&n intake and straight pipe exhaust. |

Everything seems about right. Boost might be a couple PSI on the low side but close. Around 16 PSI is normal.

seems about right.... once you get a tuner your boost numbers will increase...

A stock truck should put out 15-17 lbs of Boost, check your intake boots.
Trans temps should be 70-90 above ambient, anything sustained over 200 means you need more cooling. EGT's are fine below 1250, short bursts to 1400+ degrees is fine but nothing sustained over 1250. To be honest this info is posted several times a week, the search feature can be your friend!! NCH |
