Worked on the truck a little today in freezing NE ohio weather outside! It was a blast!! But I looked the truck over and noticed one of the tubes running to the turbo had black dirt on it like it had been leaking, so I cleaned it and tightened the clamp and I dont hear the sound anymore! Think I have it fixed for now! Thanks for the suggestions!

Glad you got her fixed paineszj Just got in from work and ate some pizza and washed it down with a couple of Selects and got to thinking about what your weird noise could be. My next guess was going to be the fan clutch engaging and disengaging, making your wooshing sound you were describing. Glad it wasn't something costly:beer2:
