What the heck is going on

So last night I was asleep and was waken by some a**holes horn at 3 am come to find out it was my truck so I run out and hit unlock and it stops so I relick my doors get back inside and it started again so I went and took the horn relay out what could cause this

My truck does haved an alarm w/remote start from the factory....does horn sound on...off...on...off with the park lamps flashing in sync when it happens

That's just the panic alarm. It will work when you press the button, but it is not an actual alarm.

Actually, mine operates as an alarm, and the Ford manual that came with my little pouch thing w/the other manuals, has a separate book title as security system w/remote start. If I lock the doors with the remote by pushing the lock button twice it chirps the horn, if someone opens the door or hits the truck hard enough it will sound off the horn and flash the lights and will not start without disarming. It will also work like a panic alarm by holding the lock button down for over 1 second...now I did not test the impact sensor my self, but i did accidentally drop my trailer onto the hitch a little to hard and it set the alarm off.

Maybe I should try the impact test on mine too. Or I wonder if it is different from 02 to 04?

my trucks a 2000 f250 lariat and its got the alarm factory it used to work if you opened the doors from the inside whith the windows down it would sound off and it's got that impact thing on it to
