outside Temp sender and wires

Hi Y`all.
Some remember I had a hard hit and had the frond end rebuilt. The shop put in the new engine harness and all, but we are having a heck of a time figuring out how to hook up the outside temp sender. Local Ford and all here (myself included) can not find any wiring pig tail that connects the sender to the harness. I got the Ford workshop manual with wire diagrams, but it isn't specific enough. When the ordered the new engine harness, the Ford parts counter used my vin to get the correct harness. I can not find any reference, to any added wiring from sender into the truck.

This setup is not the info computer style, it's the in rearview mirror compass / temp setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Diagrams, whatever. The only thing I can think of is that the new harness has the connection point, but it's under wraps somewhere, and I can't see cutting off all the wrap in a guessing game.

Usually with a new harness all the pigtails are already exposed so you shouldn't have to hunt for it. Sounds like it could be the harness for a truck without that option. Just my .

Any tech's or something out there? I have no way of knowing if they even installed the correct engine bay harness.

I've taken out the battery box, tray, and air box to look. All pigtail's have been accounted for, attached to main harness, and accesories coming out from firewall.
