PCM mod and tuner?

hey, i was wondering if any one had any input on running a 10K mod and a diablo sport predator tuner. Good, bad? worth it? ive heard it will fry some tuners but not others, has anyone tried with a diablo? ifso witch resistor will give me the best results? any info will be appreciated, thanks. its a 2000 by the way

I aint never heard of a PCM mod or putting resistors in the PCM. I've heard of the IDM mod though, and it wont hurt the predator. I really like the diagnostic capabilities of my predator, that’s why I kept it after getting the flip chip.

YEAH SORRY, otherwise known as the 10k mod. anyone know how this mod will affect my tuner?

If I aint mistaken the 10 K mod is a resistor on the ICP sensor that just fools the computer into raising high oil pressure. The predator on max will already raise the oil pressure anyway so the resistor will likely be useless. The predator does not touch anything but the PCM so it should not be affected by anything but the PCM. I know it will get grouchy if you try to program a truck that already has a chip in it.

yeah i didnt really expect much of a power gain , i really just wanted a little more smoke and lope at the touch of a switch for when im cruisin through town, just for fun.
