battery light

started my truck after work and the battery light stayed on I wiggled the plug on the back of the alt. and the light went out. guess I have to clean the conection.

Your alternator may be going. Mine would not work after first starting, then it would kick in after 10-20 seconds.

I cleaned the plug and the terminal with electronic cleaner spray and the light hasn't come for 4 days. that was an easy fix.

I tried to wiggle it the other day and ended up putting an alternator on.
