good quiet muffler...

I know, I know before you go blasting me.... its for a work truck.
I have a 99 that has a utility body on it and I went and cut off the cat and muffler and ran some straight pipe that was left over from my buddies stock exhaust. It sounds great, but it is a work truck and I cant hear for **** when I am trying to talk on the phone. I also spend hours and hours sitting in traffic and it just wears on me....
Plus I dont think my neighbors like it when I warm up the truck in the driveway at 4am.... It also shakes my house pretty good.

I was thinking of leaving the cat off and just putting on another muffler because the stock one is pretty haggard and has a crack in it from being beat around.

well a cheap muffler i know is the walker btm. i'm gettin mine shipped in a few days. not sure when i'll get it put on. i know some ppl have said it's not much louder than stock and it helps your exhaust flow since it's a straight flow

I just put a Walker Big Truck Muffler about 2 weeks and am very happy with it. It is a straight thru design and you do here the turbo with the windows down, its a little louder than stock, but it is quieter than straight pipe. It was $59 at Pure Diesel Power and cost me 50 bucks to have it installed. Hope this helps.
