how loud are them single stacks?..i drove in a cummins with a single stack and i wanted to walk home..it was insane

My buddy has an ol 12 valver with a single 7 inch and its straight piped. The stack was really really loud when the top of the miter was level with the top of the cab. When he moved it up about 2 inches it quieted it down alot.

When im just cruising at 45 mph or so its just a slight hum but when you get on it it definitely is loud in the cab.
