Do dealers generally take a lifted truck on trade ins?

yes but they give you no money for it.. in fact they will bring down the value of the truck for any aftermarket parts....

Really? I knew they wouldnt give you any more money for them but i didnt know it would bring down the value

happend to me when i traded in my cobra for my truck... i had a full racing susp on it, wheels, body kits ect.. it actually brought the value down on it because they could not sell it as a certified car. or even as as factory conidioned vehicle....

but you know what they do is give you less money for it but then when they sell it sell it for more because of the parts on it...

i would just try and sell it to a private party that appreciates all the work that went into it

Like Raul said, they give you nothing for all your mods. Your basically giving free mods to another owner. All that money you put into it for basically just a few years of fun driving, not worth it to me
