99 7.3 Just go under the truck on the drivers side, look up at the manifold and you will see an open area. you want to drill close to the curve in the manifold. Get your gear ready, fire the truck up ,put some grease on the drill bit to catch the shavings, and when the bit goes through, the exaust will blow any other shavings out of the hole. shut the truck down, tap the hole, put a magnet on a nail with a 90 deg. bend on it, sweep it around inside the hole and your done. only takes a few minets, start to finish. BY THE WAY, ITS A 21/64 DRILL BIT AND A 1/8 NPT TAP. You can start off with a smaller bit for a pilot hole if you want.---Gord.
