most number of miles.

How many miles is the most someone has on this engine?

I am considering a '99 F350. I understand its really reliable.. I'm just wondering how much longer it can last? The body looks good.

thanks

Really depends on how it was taken care of. Good maintence and it can last practically for ever. Check service records and make sure the turbo isnt dusted.

my late 99 is on the verge of breaking 200 thousand, only major problem has been a water pump and of course the small stuff here and there. Take care of them and they take care of you

my buddys 95 has 480,000 on the stock motor heads have never been off. a few injectors and little stuff here and there but the thing runs like a raped ape. pulles a 38ft loaded hoarse trailer almost every day. Keep good oil and fresh fuel filters in em' and i think they'll run for ever.
