I'm a new member and I'm looking for some advice on the best leveling kit for my e99.

start with a shackle and hanger kit from pro comp or donahoe, If that doesnt do it then you need a leaf pack. I have a pro comp leaf pack 2" lift and a 2.5" shackle and hanger drop kit. it sits a lil higher in the front.

I just bought the shackles off ebay and havent had a problem. Although i think i need an adjustable track bar. When i installed them it put alot of stress on the track bar bushing and now about 50,000 miles later the bushing is toast. just putting shackles on the back of the leaf spring adds alot of caster though. Personally i like it. I can go down the highway and drive with my leg for miles it tracks straighter than a train.

I don't know of anyone selling adjustable bars for an early bird, but if you buy a late 99-03 upper mounting bracket and drill out the bracket on the axle you can install a late 99-03 bar on the early bird.

Thanks for the input I'm undecided wether to go with the leveling kit or a 4" lift.

Its tight but you should be able to drill out the factory frame bracket.

go with the 4" lifting is addictive if you get the leveling kit you'll be wishing you went bigger. That's what happened to me LOL
