So I borrowed an edge evoII just to see if I liked it and after I plugged it in it went through and wrote a backup. Now all of the sudden the check gauge light is on and the cel light is on, and the tach is not working tranny temp gauge is not working and I tried to write it back to stock. Then tried removing it and disconecting the batteries but the same thing keeps happening. Also getting codes p0381, p1316, and p1668.

You need to contact EDGE and have them send you the stock programming.

Just another reason why Edge sucks the big one

The truck will still start but I have not taken it anywhere because of the cel and gauge light.
By the way the truck is a 2003 7.3 |

So after a about 2 weeks edge and I finally got it figured out and after they sent me a stock writer, things have been back to normal. And the truck is running great

I had the same problem with mine. I had a factory APCM installed. The Edge would have problems if the APCM was connected while trying to write to the ECM. Edge didn't know that was the issue. I did some testing while I had the stock writer and found that was my issue.
