which michelin tire

was just wondering if anyone has run the michelin XPS rib or traction and what did you think of it?
or if you have run something better what was it and why was it better?
i'm just doing mainly on road driving and occasional pasture driving but no mudding or anything

I put the ltx/ms on mine about 4k ago and they are awesome! much smoother and quieter then my good years. they were just under 200 a tire by the time I paid mount/ballance and all the other BS.

I did alot of reading on them (tirerack, discount tire and a few others) and many who have them on 3/4 and 1ton trucks claim 60 to 80k miles on them. some even a few more! I would be very happy with 60k miles.

I went with the LTX M/S also, kinda a cross between the rib and traction. Real quiet
and nice ride. They seem to be lasting much better than the GoodYears. I get the 'E'
rated tire.

XPS is a commercial tire, I would guess the ride would suffer some.
