Crap Day

I just wanted to post a pointless thread of how my day ended.

My brothers gf, was on her way to our house for a birthday party. she got a flat tire. Me and my brother jumped in my truck for the 30 minute drive to change it. I haul *** down the turn pike, going about 80-90, hit the strobes and pull over to help. Well her AAA tow truck got there at the same time wasted trip... He changes the tire, we bull**** with him. Well my truck is on the eastbound side, her car is on the westbound side. I go up to the next exit to turn around, As I am getting ready to turn, going about 30 and slowing. my right front tire feels like it fell off, and the truck is skidding and not turning. I get out and look at it is facing the wrong way. My brand new tie rod, came out... the nut is gone, so is the cotter pin... I cant get it back in with the tools i had, dont carry a puller. I have her call the tow truck back, and after 3 hours i am back home from my good deed




On vacation from a truck for a year or...
Looking at 6.4s Moving in a few months then hopefully buying my dream truck!!!

Driving an Audi till then...
but at work I drive
16 E-450s 7.3 powerstroke Ambulances
7 Duramaxes
1 GMC Kodiak Ambulance

NO CUMMINS.....

Boy, that could have been way mo-nasty then it turn out. Glad yer safe and sound.

that sucks, hope you get her fixed. at least you were going slow, and didnt crash or anything.

dude at least it didnt happen when you were doing 80-90 down the turn pike. it sounds like it was a blessing. for real.

Built engine, rods, pushrods, cam, springs. Meth, turbo, injectors, fuel system, oil system. 3 disk billet, billet shafts built trans, 6.0 IC, exhaust, intake. Latter bars, gears, system, tint, HIDs. You know the typical stuff to make a 7.3 get out of its own way... dont brake.
