Need U Diesel Doc's Diagnosis

Need help finding a power loss problem. 1999 F250, 85K on engine and tranny. DIY Tymar air intake with Zoo Dadd(?) modification. FBD 4" turbo back exhaust, EDGE EVO 3 stage tuner. Stock lift with 2006 18" rims, normal rubber. Problem is this... For those of you that know the route in Utah on I-15 from SLC to St. George.... Felt truck should have pulled a 26' travel trailer(4,250lbs) a bit more stronger than it did. I averaged about 8.5mpg, 60-65 mph @2000-2200 RPM (in OD unless a lot of shifting). A lot of turbo flutter the whole way. Took a lot of summits from 5000' up to 6500'. But I just hated the whole drive. Whats the problem if any or am I just expecting too much from my set up??

I was in stage 1 safe tow.
Probably had about 1K lbs in gear in trailer and truck.

Thank You for any advice
Brian-

Was it hot out? I notice when it's hot out my truck doesn't pull as good as the weather is colder. Like 85* and below. You might have just gotten bad fuel. I have a few questions though. How clean is the air filter? Hows the oil level? How clean is the intake on the inside? Last time fuel filters were changed?

What level is your EDGE in? Sounds about right if it is in tow mode. Have your compressor housing changed to ATS ported shroud housing. Next get a good chip, you'll like it better DP,TW,PHP,SWAMPS they will keep your egts under control. Also get a wicked wheel or X wheel 60 to 100 dollars but its well worth the money.
