Quick question on top end and big tire

Whats the top speed of a 1999 ford f250 diesel? i got mine up to 85-90 and it seemed to stop there. no shudder fuel cut off or rev limiter. just wouldnt go any faster.

Also I have 265 70 16 on it can i go to a 305 70 16 on a stock suspension or shoudl i stick to a 285 70 16. ilooked at a set and they seem to be about 33 inches tall. still look small on the truck but right now it looks like Im running car spare tires on the truck. i bought these shackles to give me a extra 1 1/2 inch front lift. to level the truck out but if i dont need them i wont use them. You guys think I should stick to a 285? Im not gonna jack it up cause the places i go hunting at have some narrow areas and lifted jacked up trucks dont do well there.

do you have a programmer or chip i haved mine 100mph i have 315's with 2 inch's of lift my boss has a 02 with 285'S and no rubbing

i belive it is about 97. it just quits fueling it dont stutter or anything just wont go any faster without a programmer.
