another quick question

has anybody heard of a pcm re-flash on a 03 7.3 my dad had my truck this week and it wouldnt start so they pulled the chip out and still nothing...the wait to start light would never go off so they took it to the dealer in rocky ford co i believe and the guy that worked on it said he updated or re flashed the pcm and i guess i have just never heard of that before

Reflashing exsists for 7.3s. It's usually when the PCM craps out. Some people get reflashes for performance reasons, but I hear that route isn't worth it.

Yes, the dealer can re-flash the PCM for you. So can Jody at DP Tuner and probably some of the other big tuners. A re-flash is just rewriting the programming in the PCM.

ok thats what i figured but man i can tell u i took my chip out so i can have it re-burned by tony but man my truck does awesome on fuel now and shifts and drives better i dont know what he did but it just feels like a different pickup now
