Question on Tire Fitment

I'm wondering if anyone out there has put a set of 315/75/16 (or 35's) on their truck with just a 2" leveling kit in the front. I was told that they would fit with minor trimming on the front.

True?

Thanks

p.s. this is an '02, that's why I'm posting here.

I've got a sagging 2.5" leveling kit with 20x9's and 35x12.50R20's and it only rubs on the driver's side inner fender well at full lock

My 00CCLB had 16X9 wheels with 4.5" backspace, and 315/75/16. They rubbed fender liner at full lock, but you can take a heat gun, and a pair of leather gloves, heat up plastic, push in with hands and have someone ready with a garden hose to spray the plastic and you can move the liner and not have to cut it out.
