overdrive light flashing on column
I'm not sure if you can help me but i have 2 2000 f-250's diesel and gas and i can't seem to get any help with the gas one. There is a code flashing for a sensor in the transmission and the truck has no power but before i replace it i am wondering if there is a possibility of a chaffed wire or some other problem because sometimes when it rains the light doesn't flash and the truck works great, lots of power

check the vss on the rear end. we had a customer come in with the same problem, the speed sensor in the rear end was either loose or had a pinched wire, i really cannot remember but i do remember it was the speed sensor in the rear end and it was an easy fix...not saying yours is an easy fix if the truck is down on power though
