Looking at buying a 2001

Hey guys looking at a 2001 ford f-350 crew cab , the truck has 78,000 miles on it, but the only problem is the guy said a seal needs to be replaced in the turbo and a clock spring? he said it smokes a little. is this a serious issue?

Depends on what he wants for it. Low miles on a 7.3 is nice, but why is the turbo shot? Is there dust in the intake? Check for that. If there is a ton of dust don't buy it, cause even if you replace the turbo there might be cylinder wall damage from sucking in dust.

ya all he had told me was that the turbo seals need to be replaced because it smokes a little. could this just be from normal wear and tear or ? also the truck only has 78000 miles on it
