confused on what i have

so according to everything ive read i would have already thrown a rod if i had pmrs? I had 50% meth, with my reg return fuel system, gtp38r, cetane booster, and the chip on the 140 tune with no probs at all.

its an early 01 and the numbers are worn off the valve cover sooo

Have you checked the rods? Depending on the build date of the motor you might have forged...

Most PMR's are fine up to the 400hp mark, at best your around 350... within the safe range IMHO...

wheres the build date for the motor? All my stickers are pretty much gone so unless its stamped ill have to use the view port. Im just confused because iv heard of guys blowin them on generic tunes.

On the valve cover there should be a build date for the motor. If not you are left with pulling the inspection cover on the drivers side and getting a peak.

I know of 5 01 PSD's in the area that have Forged Rods... 01 is luck of the draw really.

yeah i know others with 01 that have forged. from the sound of it i do as well but i dont want to spend the money on my top end if my bottom end is weak. Which side is the build date? pass or driver?

i have a friend with an 02 pmr truck and he has been at 400hp the past two years and changed to some better nozzles a few months back so he is over 400hp. IMO a lot of it has to do with tuning
