well this is going to sound stupid but....were your doors locked. i was born and raised in Iowa and hardly ever were our doors locked, i dont even think my parents have a key for the house door. check your keyhole on your door, it may have been pried. thats the way they get in.

Do the locks look messed up? A few people I know have had their locks punched (put a screwdriver in the door and hit it really hard). My buddy jon just got his GPS stolen a few days ago, and my mom's truck and my dad's buddies truck got broken into like that a year or so ago. It sucks because it's so easy for someone to walk up and do without anyone noticing.

When you locked your truck, did you do it manually or use the keyless entry remote? I've heard that high tech thieves can intercept the lock signal and use it to unlock your car or truck.

Spend the $45 and get a set of Jimmy Jammers, they are steel plates that fit in the door handle making it unable to pick or punch the palstic hanldes in our trucks. Of course, I had to learn the hard way too....
