engine oil temp gauge innstall

Have mounted tranny oil temp, pyrometer and boost, only left now is the engine oil temperature, where do i mount the sensor for the engine oil?

i would imagine on the oil temp sensor on the front top of the hpop i think. or its around that area.

around the oil filter on the engine block it is a cuple of bolts with square heads, are some of them a plug into a oil chamber?
or take out the bolt in the oil pan modifie it and mount the sensor in the senter of that oil drain bolt, than should read the correct engine oil temperature right?
somebody know what type thread size the oil drain bolt has?

mm, noticed that i posted in the wrong forum part, mine is 97mod. mine oil filter holder do not have that hole\bolt that you have used for the temp signal.

Its there... You have the same oil cooler set up as the SD trucks... Its not a normal bolt, its a square drive bolt in there.

i know this thread is kinda old now but how much oil pressure should i have? i just finally found the right adapters to get my guage hooked up.
