It takes the CCV and re directs it out of the intake tube. It will eliminate oily ic and intake boots. Raul at staealth automotive sells a nice kit or contact NCHornet he designed the kit raul sells. Either one of them can answer your questions

Search!!! Tons of threads here and elsewhere on this topic.

Do a search itll come up with how to do it. If you want really cheap I just turned the dog house around and ran 3/4" heater hose out of it into a 3/4" 90* elbow over the brake booster and let it hang by the frame

The cummins guys already have the CCV dumped onto the ground right in front of the engine.
My CCV is still OEM and the amount of oil in the system is amazing. It can actually drip out of the intercooler boots and accumulate in the valley. |

The T444E in International trucks (which is a 7.3L Powerstroke) has the CCV dumped right behind the engine block. Ford plumbed it into the intake most likely for emissions reasons.

Why are we telling new members to go search instead of answering their questions?!? C'mon guys, someone took the time to answer your questions.
We don't mind answering the same questions over and over. That is one of the things that makes this site great. To the OP, your question was answered in post #2. It is basically to clean up your motor by re-routing the crank case vent out of your intake and venting it to the atmospere, OR cleaning the oily residue out of the air before returning it back to your intake. Good Luck |

Check your PM's, should answer all your questions. As for the Cummins, have you ever crawled underneath a Cummins? Not something I want to be working on, not without a ton of degreasing agent first!!! They use to have a little plastic bottle on the end to catch the oil, but Caltrans got tired of finding millions of them on the side of the roads!!! If you have any further questions about the CCV system just PM me and I will try my best to answer them.
