Noise Complaints

Everyone including girlfriend, family, friends, and co-workers have been complaining about the excessive noise my truck makes. I have a stock exhaust with a muffler delete. I was about to go with a 4 or 5 inch straight pipe but with everyone complaining looks like I'll be going back to a muffler. Any suggestions on an aftermarket exhaust kit thats quieter than a straight pipe? I was thinking 4" MBRP?

just installed my 4" TB mbrp this afternoon and let me tell you it sounds sweet. I had the muffler delete pipe on for 2 hours, then put the muffler on backwards. the straight pipe was to loud towing my enclosed trailer but it sounded like animal.

Tell them to live with it. I wish i knew were you live i would drive by in my old mans pete with strights and the jake on. LOL

MBRP is a great kit with the muffler... it will be pretty much as quite as the shocker when rolling regular.. but when you romp on it it has a nice tone to it...

i have this same problem with my neighbors. they told me i should move out. big mistake on there part. now the truck doesnt leave second gear on my way down the street.

You don't need a 4" system just remove the factory muffler, which you have already done, for something a bit quiter install the Walker BTM straight through muffler. But I agree if your friends and family don't like the noise tell them to call a taxi!!

I got the diamond eye 4-inch, louder than stock all the time but not real loud...

Gives a nice whistle on take off, and a good rumble going by anything...

my neighbors were complaing about the noise for all the farm equipment run but when my dad got drunk and drove up and down the street like 10 times with his KW with straight pipe and jake on, and they havent said a thing since

Sounds like They like to complain I'd say tough S**t, but thats me I have heard good things about the MBRP. I put a edelbrock muffler on my 4" sraight pipe was to jet sounding for me. Those complaints remind me of my 96' PSD with 36" Ground Hawgs. My neighbor said he could here me 2 miles away. LOL
