valve covers

my valve covers are leaking a little and i was going to replace the gaskets here in a litte bit and i wanted to know if there is something i should do while i have them off or at least look at

Check the UVC harness make sure all connections are tight and snapped in good. You could just buy a new harness for a couple bucks because they changed them to have better snaps. That is what i was told by the mechanics that scan my truck for me.
