AVIC D3

I'm putting an AVICD3 in a 1999 250 with a bfriend, and good ol Best Buy says you can't, it won't fit, and that they don't have a dash kit for it. Now, I know this to be false, because I have one in my truck, it does fit, and I got the kit from them. At the time I had gotten the part number and they managed to get a kit. Just wondering if any of the members here may happen to know where we can get a dash kit. Thanks

they make a dash kit, I cant think of it now, but it might be Metro. My brother put an Avic-D3 in his 01 SD. It requires a little bit of cutting of the dash face, but not much, just to keep it in there. Its two plastic plates that bolt to the sides of the unit, that clip the unit to the dash face, basically a push in and thats it.

thanks, I'm going to go in there today and get a hold of the little bastard and look up the damn parts myelf. that should eliminate the confusion.
