what guages are needed

i have a 02 f250 with a manual transmission. i currently have a boost and egt guage. i was thinking about getting 2 more guages. but im not sure what else to get. what other guages would be useful on a manual transmission?

i'd go with tranny temp and fuel pressure

thats all you really need... only other one i can see that would be usefull is fuel pressure.. but that gauge a lone is over 200 bucks..

my suggestion is take the money you were thinking about spending on gauges and spend it on a good custom tuned chip.. ditch the Evo... trust me you will thank me afterwards

well the reason i want other guages is because when i got the truck the guy before me drilled the two guages into the dash under the spedo and tack. and its hard to keep an eye on them down there so i want them in a a pillar. but then im stuck with two holes in my dash. so what i was thinking about doing was getting a fuel pressure and a dp tuner with the guage switch and putting the egt and boost up top and the fuel pressure and dp in the dash...?

does the dash piece look like the one in this pic? if so its an autometer part... you can just replace it with an OEM unit

no its actual drilled holes in the dash. i called ford and its about $200 for a new dash. and i cant seem to find a used one on here in grey.

The piece above is an overlay... I drilled two more gauges in my overlay down there too... I have my Fuel Level (big tank) and intake air temp gauges there...

Get a Fuel pressure gauge and a Volts or Oil pressure.

the thing is... i dont like where the guages are now. there hard to keep an eye on since there next to the steering wheel. thats why i wanna put the more important ones on an pillar. so i can see them with out looking around all over the place.
